During the symposium, Fan Jianjie, Director of the Haishu District Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, and Hu Zichao, Director of the Jiangbei District Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, delivered comprehensive presentations on the regional industrial landscape, talent recruitment strategies, education policies, and the employment needs of key enterprises. In response, university representatives provided an overview of the employment outlook for the Class of 2025 graduates.
President Wang Haohan emphasized the importance of leveraging the university’s geographical advantage in Haishu to establish a long-term cooperative framework. He expressed a commitment to facilitating more graduates in securing employment and launching entrepreneurial ventures in Haishu, contributing to the development of an industry-education integration demonstration zone. Party Secretary Wang Chunchao proposed the establishment of an "Intelligent Technology-Industry-Education Integration Base," advocating for a comprehensive approach that links curriculum development, practical training, employment, and entrepreneurship. He also suggested co-developing specialized courses to cultivate interdisciplinary talent proficient in both technological and industrial applications.
The discussions also encompassed strategies for strengthening school-government-enterprise partnerships, enhancing talent development pipelines, and expanding employment pathways. As a result of these engagements, multiple cooperation agreements were reached, including the establishment of internship and training bases and the implementation of customized talent development programs. Moving forward, the university will continue to refine its academic offerings, innovating through an “industrial college + enterprise classroom” model to seamlessly integrate education, talent development, industry, and innovation. These efforts aim to enhance graduate employability while providing robust talent support for the transformation and upgrading of regional industries.
Looking ahead, the university will intensify its "Visiting Counties (Districts) to Expand Job Opportunities" initiative, regularly organizing employment promotion activities such as "Visiting Counties to Expand Job Opportunities," "Visiting Parks to Expand Job Opportunities," and "Visiting Enterprises to Expand Job Opportunities." These initiatives, led by university and college leadership teams, will further strengthen collaboration with industry stakeholders, continuously refine the university’s employment support system, and expand career opportunities for students. In doing so, the university aims to contribute not only to the professional success of its graduates but also to the economic and social development of the region.
