University Hosts Cultural Immersion Experience for International Faculty at Xiangshan Global Studios

To foster a deeper understanding of Chinese culture among international faculty and to strengthen cross-cultural exchange, the Office of International Cooperation at our university organized a cultural immersion excursion to Xiangshan Global Studios on June 13. Faculty members from Pakistan, Madagascar, and Japan participated in the event.

The event centered on immersive media and traditional arts, providing participants with a vivid introduction to the richness of Chinese heritage. Highlights included trying on traditional Chinese attire such as Hanfu, Ming Dynasty official dress, Feiyu Robes, and Qipao, allowing the guests to appreciate the elegance and aesthetic of oriental fashion. Faculty also enjoyed a thrilling automotive stunt show inspired by the popular “Game for Peace” storyline—an opportunity to witness both the creativity and dynamic spirit of contemporary Chinese entertainment.

Through these interactive activities, international faculty members gained first-hand exposure to the diversity and vibrancy of Chinese culture, helping to bridge cultural differences and foster deeper connection within the university community. This initiative reflects the university’s ongoing commitment to promoting internationalization and cross-cultural understanding. Looking ahead, the university plans to develop more immersive cultural experiences rooted in local traditions, in support of broader goals for building a globally engaged campus.
