Macquarie University Delegation Visits Our University

On the afternoon of September 16, a delegation from Macquarie University in Australia, led by Wang Tao, Director for Greater China of the Future Students Division, and Jiang Tingting, Institutional Partnership Manager of the Future Students Division, visited our university. Vice President Shen Yunci extended a warm welcome and provided an overview of our university. Wang Tao expressed her appreciation and shared key information about Macquarie University.

The meeting featured in-depth discussions on joint education models, focusing on curriculum alignment, credit recognition, joint training, and postgraduate pathways. In line with the latest Ministry of Education policies, both sides also exchanged views on project registration and implementation. Participants agreed that flexible and diversified cooperation models would enhance student development and further promote internationalization.

That evening, Macquarie University held an Information Session at the Academic Center Room 202, which attracted more than 100 students from various disciplines. Wang Tao and Jiang Tingting delivered presentations on Australia’s national profile, the basics of studying abroad, and Macquarie’s location, academic strengths, and industry collaboration. Their talks offered students a deeper understanding of both Australia and Macquarie University, providing useful guidance for future study-abroad plans.

Moving forward, both universities will continue to refine and implement cooperation programs, aiming to provide students with high-quality international education resources.
