On October 29, a delegation led by Ari Lindeman, Dean of the College of Business at South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences (XAMK), visited our university. The two sides held in-depth discussions on topics including Sino–Finnish dual-degree programs and faculty and student exchanges. Vice President Shen Yunci attended the meeting and delivered a welcome address. Representatives from the Office of International Cooperation and the College of International Economics and Trade also participated.
During the meeting, both parties reviewed the outcomes of the visit to Finland in September by President Wang Haohan and his delegation, and focused on detailed discussions regarding the curriculum design, credit transfer and recognition, thesis supervision, and language training for the dual-degree programs. A number of consensuses were reached. The Finnish representatives stated that XAMK will provide high-quality study and internship opportunities for students from our university through winter English courses, practice-oriented teaching, and university–industry cooperation.

After the meeting, the delegation visited the University History Museum, the Exhibition Hall of the School of Art and Design, and the Smart Classroom Experimental Center. They also traveled to the Hangzhou Bay Campus, where they engaged in discussions with faculty and students, delivered open lectures, and conducted project briefings. This visit by South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences further deepened the practical cooperation between the two universities in international education, and created a new platform for student exchange and mutual learning.
