On the morning of December 1, a delegation from Arts University Bournemouth (AUB), UK, led by Claire McIntyre, Director of the International Office, and Dan Meyer, International Student Recruitment Manager, visited our university. The two sides held in-depth discussions on cooperation and exchange initiatives. Vice President Shen Yunci attended the meeting and delivered remarks. Representatives from the Office of International Cooperation and the College of Art and Design were also present.

During the meeting, Vice President Shen Yunci outlined prospects for future collaboration with Arts University Bournemouth in the fields of film, media, and arts education, including academic exchange and talent cultivation. Both sides discussed “4+0” and “3+1” joint student training programs, short-term student exchanges, and research collaboration, and clarified their intentions and preliminary plans for cooperation. Participants unanimously agreed that establishing a long-term strategic partnership would be beneficial to the sustainable development of subsequent collaborative projects.
After the meeting, the delegation visited the College of Art and Design to conduct a student information session. Dan Meyer introduced the support services available to international students at Arts University Bournemouth, as well as application and admission requirements, and delivered an on-site classroom demonstration with interactive engagement. Students from our university participated actively, generating enthusiastic responses.
Looking ahead, the two universities will further deepen practical cooperation in international education, integrate their respective strengths in arts and film education, and strive to provide students with learning experiences that combine a global perspective with strong professional depth.
